CanSTEAM Foundation is driven by a passionate team of educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs committed to making STEAM education accessible to every student in Canada.

    Andy Fenos

    Co-founder & president

    Andy co-founded CanSTEAM to bridge the gap between STEM education resources and Canadian schools. As president of iDesign 365, a leading Canadian distributor of VEX Robotics kits and 3D printing solutions, he brings over 25 years of experience in STEM education distribution and implementation across Canada.

    Richard Seniuk

    Co-founder & director

    Richard co-founded CanSTEAM drawing on decades of STEM education experience. A retired computer science and mathematics teacher with B.Sc., B.Ed., and M.C.S.Ed. degrees, he mentored the Glebe Collegiate Robotics team for 14 years and founded ProBots Ottawa. He currently serves as the Canadian Regional Support Manager for VEX Robotics Competitions and has volunteered at VEX Worlds since 2013.

    Daniel Yu

    Co-founder & secretary

    Daniel co-founded CanSTEAM with a vision to make robotics competitions accessible to all Ontario students. A technology strategist and entrepreneur with expertise in software engineering and education technology, he also founded the Caution Tape Robotics Club in Markham. Daniel leads the organization's strategic direction and partnership development.

    Henry Huang

    Director

    Henry serves as a board director at CanSTEAM Foundation, where he focuses on expanding access to high-quality, hands-on STEAM education for students across Canada. He has been deeply involved in youth education, earning an MBA from the University of New Brunswick along with a teaching diploma. He introduced math and computing competitions, as well as the VEX Robotics program, in Fredericton — helping students achieve top rankings provincially and nationally, and leading teams to the World Robotics Championship.

§ 08 · Volunteers

Volunteers do most of the work.

CanSTEAM events are powered by dedicated volunteers who serve as referees, judges, event coordinators, and mentors. Our volunteer team brings expertise from education, engineering, and technology sectors.
